These two men explain to us then there is also pressure on men to have a certain look.I really can’t say anything else about this poem other than to WATCH IT. - silk - use rotational symmetry to create beautful art
- create your own nebula - the title says it all
- looking at something - rain sound effect, move your mouse around to create different effects. (caution with this one—some of the links at the top of the page lead to websites that are NOT epilepsy/photosensitive friendly)
- rainymood
- the quiet place
- 90 second relaxation exercise

- calm.com - guided relaxation exercises coupled with calming nature scenes
- calmsound.com - various relaxing sound effects
- music catcher - easy game featuring relaxing music
- drift - cute game in which you are a bunny trying to jump on balloons

i’m a personal caregiver and my client and i had another check in about the ableism he’s been experiencing and he decided that it would be best to try a more direct approach in educating his family about his boundaries and bodily autonomy. we’re brainstorming ways to approach this and strategies to confront the situation without provoking a defensive response but any ideas would be appreciated. i’m particularly looking for articles or other resources for families of people with disabilities about how to support their loved ones with disabilities without being controlling or otherwise hindering their independence.
any ideas, links or boosts would be greatly appreciated.
